Phil and Kelly Eggers live in North Texas where it gets extremely hot in the summers, and their large barns and hangar buildings become unbearable on those summer afternoons. They knew that some large industrial fans would fix the situation, but they only found the cheap Asian fans that moved minimal air, or the outdated domestic fans with difficult installations so the total cost was prohibitively expensive. There had to be a better way!
Like so many things in life, if you want it done right you must do it yourself. So, Phil set out with a clean slate to gather fan experts to design an ingenious industrial fan. His plan was to use modern technology to create a more powerful, more durable, less expensive, and easier-to-install fan. First came the SD shrouded series which could hang from the ceiling with straps and cool a larger area, in any direction, and this creative design earned a patent. Next came the floor fan series which moves more air for a lot less money and are made to last for years instead of only one season.
The holy grail fan was the HVLS ceiling fan, and it took them 3 years to design this tech-laden monster. They gathered the usual suspects of engineers and experts, but also used AI, which had just become productive, to design this state-of-the-art beauty. The finished fan utilizes the newest Permanent Magnet HVLS direct-drive motor with no outdated gearbox dinosaur, and the blades are injection-molded works of art. Once they decided to use expensive modern injection molding for the blades, instead of the industry-standard aluminum paddle blades, the gloves came off and they packed each blade with proven circulatory features like no other fan blade in the outdated industry. Numerous additional features make the patented HVLS fan easier to install, maintain, and enjoy for years, even in challenging industrial conditions. They found the Holy Grail!
Just recently, they added the Big Tex floor fans and the Twister Oscillating wall-mount fans to round out the line. These truly industrial fans are like no others as they are overbuilt, overpowered, and underpriced, like all Super Duty Fans designs.
They see Super Duty Fans sitting on the same side of the table as their customers. They champion the American Worker, and their mission is to provide comfort to those who are out there getting it done every day and night. It breaks their heart to hear that employees suffer from the heat because companies can’t afford high-priced fans, so they think outside the box to provide less expensive air circulation for everyone. Since 2019, they have made a huge difference with thousands of fans installed worldwide and millions in revenue. And this is just the beginning for them in North Texas.
